From September 8 to 11, 2020, the Center organized an online thesis proposal of 36 2019 MASTA participants in Space Technology Applications in 3 directions: Satellite Communications&Global Satellite Navigation Systems(SC&GNSS), Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems(RS&GIS), and Micro-satellite technology.

The participants submitted a literature review and an opening report, a review panel consisting of supervisors reviewed the participants' thesis topics and research plans and guided the participants. Most of the participants' thesis topics addressed space technology applications' specific needs in their countries and combined them with actual projects. The cohort will graduate in June 2021. For individual students to be affected by the epidemic and lagged in their academic progress, warnings had been issued to postpone their thesis proposal.
