Chuang Shi is a Professor in the school of Electronic and Information Engineering at Beihang University, Beijing, China. His research interests cover high-precision GNSS theories and applications. He has been constantly in charge of developing the renowned PANDA software package for multi-GNSS data processing and analysis, which has been one of the pillars to bolster the evolution of China’s BeiDou system. Prof. Shi is the primary investigator of several national strategic projects such as “XiHe Project” and “National BeiDou Augmentation Service System”. Prof. Shi has been ranked the first laureate for two National Science and Technology Progress Prizes, the top honor in China for science endeavors. In 2013, he was awarded the National Science Funding as a Distinguished Young Scholar, the Chinese NSF CAREER program for only 100 recipients for all fields. He has published more than 100 academic papers which have over 2000 citations.
