On December 28-29, 2019, nine (9) participants of the Centre joined the technical visits in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province leading by Dr. Wang Xinsheng. Here is journal from Ms. SUKOLRATANA CHUANSOMBOONSIRI, 2018 MASTA participant:
Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province and the local political, economical and cultural center. First day of technical visit, we attended Qian Jiang Forum for International Yong Scholars. In that forum, Professor Deng Yuan (Dean of BUAA Hangzhou Innovation Research Institute) presented about BUAA Hangzhou Innovation Research Institute. Moreover, other speakers presented about autonomous diving and intelligent networking advance technology, the development of facial aging simulation technology and the development and prospect of quantum precision measurement technology as well.
Hangzhou Innovation Research Institute of Beihang University is a new high-level research institute jointly built by Beihang University and the governments of Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou City and Binjiang District. Beihang University establish a platform in the institute for researches on a variety of fields including artificial intelligence, cyberspace security, virtual reality, big data and microelectronics etc. Moreover, we also had chance to visit Hangzhou Innovation Research Institute of Beihang University to see various kind of innovation.
On the second day of technical visit, we visited Zhongnan Group. Zhongnan Group is the 19th among top 500 Chinese private enterprises. This enterprise has done many kind of projects but it is mainly about construction. We visited showroom of the company and also discussed about various things related to the company and its further projects.
In the afternoon, we had the chance to visit the Hangzhou Hi-Tech Zone (Binjiang), one of the state-level, hi-tech industrial zone, which has attracted innovation resources, optimized innovation environment, perfected regional innovation system continuously, acceleration and the cultivation of innovation-driven economic development growing endogenously. We have seen many innovation, the Hangzhou Hi-Tech Zone description in the showroom and also visited the testing center.
