The new centre sighed a cooperation agreement with Shenzhou college of China Academy of Space Technology of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC)on January 22, 2015. Mr. Tao Zhi, the Director of the New Centre, and Mr. Li Ming, the Vice President of China Academy of Space Technology, attended the ceremony. The two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation on the construction of partical base, exchanges of faculty of members, the sharing of teaching resources, enrollment and cross-cultural exchanges on the basis of each other’s strength. It marked the first cooperation agreement since the Centre’s establishment and a new milestone for the future cooperation.

For the purpose of implementing the working plan drawn by the Governing Board of the Centre, the officals of the Centre visited the National Disaster Induction Center of China (NDRC), Institute of Remote sensing and Digital Earth (RADI) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), International Center on Space Technologies for Natural and Cultural Heritage under the Auspices of UNESCO (HIST), China Centre for Resources satellite Data and Application, editorial office of Space International and Satellite & Network from November to December, 2014. The officers  introduced the establishment process, the objectives and the 2015 working plan of the Centre to the above-mentioned units, discussed the main field of mutual cooperation with them, and achieved multiple operational and pointed initial intent of cooperation with the leaders of the units. All sides unanimously believed that these communications were necessary and thus will play an important role to serve as a platforms for space science and technology education.
