On June 15th, the 5th China International Satellite Service Business Matching was held at China National Conference Center in Beijing. The conference was co-organized by International Alliance of Satellite Application Service, China Association of Remote Sensing Application, and GNSS and LBS Association of China. Nearly three hundred (300) representatives from twelve (12) countries were in presence. Twenty (20) participant representatives of the Centre were also invited to attend the conference, among whom three (3) participants from Venezuela, Nigeria and Bangladesh made keynote speeches during the conference.

In the theme of “Connecting countries along the ‘Belt and Road’, realizing China satellite service globally ”, the conference consisted of three (3) parts: aerospace keynote speeches, commercial information exchange, and space talks. All conference attendees discussed lively on the topics of  satellite application, trade talks and global services, sharing experiences and exploring together the ways to success.

During the keynote speech - user cases sharing and demand docking, three (3) participants of the Centre,  BURGUILLOS FAJARDO CARLOS ALBERTO from Venezuela, AHMED WASIU AKANDE from Nigeria and SM SUJAUDDIN PATHAN SHIBLEE from Bangladesh made related reports. They explained in details their understanding of Chinese satellite application service, as well as the development and actual needs in space technology application in their own country. The discussion was heated and the reports were highly appreciated by the participants.

International Alliance of Satellite Application Service (ASAS) is an open, non-governmental, non-profit, cross-industrial institute which is formed voluntarily by outstanding enterprises, scientific research institutions, schools and individuals.  ASAS works independently under the guidance of China High-tech Industrialization Association (CHIA).
