On March 9th, 2018, the Centre held the 1st class meeting for 2018 spring semester in Room 505, International School of Beihang University. The meeting was hosted by Student Advisor, Ms. Wu Ke. All the participants of 2016 and 2017 MASTA/DOCSTA Program attended it.

First of all, two (2) participants, AVCI FATIH from Turkey and RASTI NASAB VAHID from Iran made presentations on their vacation life. During the vacation, they attended the Gathering for Chinese Spring Festival and Satellite Project organized by Beihang University, and spent a meaningful time on campus. The participants said that these activities organized by Beihang enriched their holiday life and inspired them to participate more actively in the future.

Then, Ms. Wu Ke introduced academic arrangement and important events in the new semester, including academic schedule on course selection, thesis proposal and thesis defense, Training on Space Cooperation for Global Health, Journey of Chinese Aerospace Technology and Culture 2018, Poster Contest for China Space Day 2018, International Cultural Festival, etc. In the last part, Ms. Wu Ke introduced some information about plan of China Aerospace Development in 2018 and two sessions (Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and National People’s Congress, CPPCC & NPC). All the participants showed great interest in learning more about China’s space events, and wanted to make more contribution to space development in the future.

The spring is coming and the youth is rising. Hope all participants to achieve  success in this new semester of the new era.
