Space Exploration Museum of Beijing Garden Expo Park


On May 23rd, 2017, participants of the Centre paid a visited to Space Exploration Museum of Beijing Garden Expo Park.

With the guidance of Ms. Shuai Zhouyu and Mr. Liu Sida from Changzheng School of China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, the participants visited Space Exploration Museum of Beijing Garden Expo Park. Mr. Liu Sida, an outstanding alumnus of Beihang University, firstly introduced the history of China aerospace and some historical stories of space exploration, like “The First Bold Attempt of Manned Space Flight By Wan Hu”.




Then, under the guidance of Mr. Liu, the participants visited the high space simulation models of typical large spacecrafts at home and abroad located in the Space Culture Square, such as Ariane Rocket, CZ-2F Rocket, CZ-2C Launch Vehicle, CZ-3A Launch Vehicle, CZ-5 Launch Vehicle, and Tiangong-1. During the visit, the participants eagerly took photos with the models and discussed heatedly with the teachers on aerospace technology as well. Mr. NADERI TABRIZI, MAHYAR, a doctoral participant from Iran said that, it was a precious experience in which he learnt a lot from the teachers of China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, and he hoped to have more opportunities to attend such practical activities.










  During this visit, the participants had a closer view of China aerospace development while gaining a deeper understanding of China aerospace culture at the same time. From the ancient time to the future, all the things inspired the participants to make more achievement in space exploration with ambition.
