National Astronomical Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences

On May 6th, 2016, Mr. Weng Jingnong and two other representatives of RCSSTEAP visited National Astronomical Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Some issues about future cooperation and students’ professional visit were  discussed. The Centre planned to organize students to visit Xinglong Astronomical Observatory.

China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology

On May 11th, 2016, representatives of RCSSTEAP visited China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (referred to as CALT). They visited Chinese Space Museum and then had a meeting with Yang Tiecheng, Deputy Minister of Human Resources of CALT and Vice President of Long March College of CALT, Zhou Shouming, Vice President of Long March College of CALT and related staff. At the meeting, both sides gave a general introduction of themselves and discussed related intentions and cooperation affairs. This visit defined the direction of cooperation between the two sides.

China Space Foundation

On June 8th, 2016, representatives of RCSSTEAP visited China Space Foundation and exchanged ideas about future cooperation. Mr. Weng Jingnong, Dean of International School, Beihang University and Executive Director of RCSSTEAP, and Mr. Zhang Yujiang, Secretary General of China Space Foundation, introduced the Centre and China Space Foundation respectively. Zhang Yujiang spoke highly of the Centre and reached a consensus on promoting development of international space science & technology education and space technology “going out”. It laid a good foundation for the further cooperation between the two sides.
