On May 17, 2023, the 2023 “Journey of Chinese Aerospace Technology and Culture” set off for the fifth stop. At the invitation of Beijing UniStrong Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (UniStrong), the partner of the Centre, the participants from the Centre went to the corporate headquarters for a technical visit. Founded in 1994, UniStrong is one of the pioneers in the field of satellite navigation in China.
The participants first visited the Satellite Navigation Applications Museum located inside the UniStrong. The exhibition hall clearly displays the development of navigation technology from ancient times to the present, with contents ranging from traditional navigation methods, such as navigation through landmarks, astronomy, geomagnetism, etc., to modern navigation by radio and satellite. The participants were deeply attracted by the development history of navigation.

Then, the participants went to the product display center of the UniStrong. A variety of modern and advanced GNSS equipment was on display, including high-precision baseband and radio navigation chips, GNSS-guided tractors and excavators applied to precision agriculture, etc. With the introduction of the company’s professional staff, the participants learned more about the applications of these products and gained a deeper understanding of the latest GNSS technologies and application areas in the industry.
