Lectures on the Frontiers of Space Technology Applications —— Beidou High Precision Positioning: Progress and Application

At the invitation of the Centre, Associate Professor Lei Wang at the state key laboratory of information engineering in surveying, mapping, and remote sensing, Wuhan University, will give a lecture on the Frontiers of Space Technology Applications on Tencent Meeting on May 20th.

This lecture series is open to participants from the Centre, and interested students and faculty from both on and off campus are also welcome to attend.

Dr. Lei Wang is an Associate Professor at the state key laboratory of information engineering in surveying, mapping, and remote sensing, Wuhan University, He received a Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering and computer science from Queensland University of Technology, Australia in 2015. He is the associate principal designer of the navigation augmentation system on Luojia-1A and Luojia-2A satellites. He was involved in many key scientific research programs of China and received 2 awards from GNSS and the surveying community. He has published more than 40 papers indexed by SCI/EI, one monography, and owns 6 Chinese patents. His research interest in GNSS precise positioning, LEO navigation augmentation, LEO precise orbit determination, and indoor positioning.
