On September 12, 2019, Mr. Sanya Praseuth, Vice Chairman of the Economic Technology and Environment Committee of National Assembly of the Lao PDR, visited the Centre. Mr. Weng Jingnong, Executive Director of the Centre, Mr. Wang Xinsheng, Expert in Micro-satellite Technology and Ms. Guo Yuanyuan, Project Director of the Centre, warmly received the guests.

Mr. Sanya Praseuth visited Micro-satellite Mission Control Center, RS&GIS Lab, Smart Classroom, SAT Library, publication show window, participant archive shelves, etc. Subsequently, the two sides exchanged views on space technology personnel training, international exchanges and cooperation, scientific research resource sharing, and reached preliminary consensus.
