On October 14, 2019, Dr. Xiao Dengkun, General Manager of Beijing JinKun Innovation Technology co.,LTD and Mr. Gu Zhongshun, vice chairman of Beijing JinKun Innovation Technology co., LTD visited Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education in Asia and the Pacific (China) (Affiliated to the United Nations) (referred to as the Centre). Mr. Weng Jingnong, Executive Director of the Centre and Dean of International School, Beihang University and staff of the Centre warmly welcomed the guests.

During the meeting, Mr. Weng Jingnong gave a detailed introduction to the development results, student internships, entrepreneurship of the Centre ,etc., and invited Beijing JinKun Innovation Technology co., LTD to participate in the 5th anniversary celebration and Forum on Space Education Cooperation on December 10, 2019. The two sides also held discussions on the overseas promotion, display and technical exchange of Beidou technology and application, the establishment of enterprise R&D open topics, and the construction of student training bases. It was confirmed that the company will send technical experts to our school to hold the lecture with the theme of “Indoor and outdoor navigation positioning and its application”, etc.

After the meeting, Dr. Xiao Dengkun and Mr. Gu Zhongshun visited the small-satellite ground monitoring and control center, smart classroom, distance learning and video conference room, Remote Sensing and GIS teaching laboratory, Centre archives and STA library, training classroom, Centre construction development gallery, window display of Newsletters and publications, participant archives and graduation papers, etc.
