The Twenty First Century Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. (21AT)

  On April 28th, 2017, participants of the Centre went to the Twenty First Century Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. (21AT) for a visit.

  Mr. Yang Yaowu, Vice General Manager of the company, gave a welcome speech. Then, Mr. Liu Chang gave a detailed introduction about Beijing Series Satellite, applications and services of company, etc. Then, he demonstrated remote sensing image, orbit simulation, urban remote sensing and other test systems by display platform of remote sensing data.

  Later, Ms. Zhang Nannan delivered a lecture titled "B21AT Service and Applications", giving a detailed introduction about imagery products, information extraction and Satellite Practical Application in Agricultural.

  During free talk time, the participants had a heated discussion and raised a lot of questions about applications of remote sensing in monitoring land change cycle and data analysis. They got satisfied answers from the experts from the company.

  Through this visit, the participants integrated the theoretical knowledge with the practical application of the remote sensing satellite. They also had a more intuitive and profound understanding of remote sensing technology applications Experts on the principle of remote sensing satellites and space information product and data presentation for the students of remote sensing technology in land and resource management, ecological environmental monitoring, resource survey statistics, city management, disaster management, etc. through the principal interpretation and data demonstration of remote sensing satellites and space information products by the experts, and many other areas of application are more intuitive and profound understanding.

  Twenty First Century Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. (21AT) was found in June 2001. It is currently the first remote sensing satellite operator/application service provider in China. Beijing-1 small satellite system operated by 21AT was the first commercial integrated space-ground remote sensing satellite service in China. It established a well-known brand of Beijing-1 small satellite and application. The TripleSat Constellation, which was invested by the company, is the first commercial remote sensing satellite project approved in the civil aerospace area in China. Successfully launched on 11 July 2015, the constellation system which consist of three 1-metre satellite is able to observe repeatedly any point on earth once per day, so as to provide independent remote sensing data with a compelling combination of spatial and temporal resolution of and geo-spatial information products.
