On the afternoon of May 10th, 2016，Exchange Conference among The Belt and Road Countries about BDS Services organized by RCSSTEAP and Academic Exchange Center of China Satellite Navigation Office (CSNO-AEC) was held in the conference room No. 8 of the conference center in New Main Building of Beihang University. Mr. Weng Jingnong, Deputy Director of RCSSTEAP, Dean of International School of Beihang University hosted the conference.

Present at the conference were officers from Embassies of Nigeria, Iran, Brazil, Peru，Pakistan，Brunei and Laos，leaders and staffs of China Satellite Navigation Office (CSNO) as well as leaders and professors of Beihang University. Firstly, Mr. Weng Jingnong introduced the guests and made the welcome address. Dr. Wu Haitao, Senior Consultant of CSNO and Chief Engineer of Satellite Navigation Headquarters, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Ms. Hao Weina, Vice Director of CSNO-AEC, Deputy Secretary-General of China Satellite Navigation Conference Organizing Committee, and Mr. Weng Jingnong delivered their speeches. They mainly introduced BeiDou System and Applications, China Satellite Navigation Conference(CSNC), China Satellite Navigation Office Academic Exchange Center(CSNO-AEC) and China Satellite Navigation Office BeiDou/GNSS International Communication and Training Center. The guests also showed their perspectives, and had a heated exchange and discussion.

After the conference, all guests took a Group Photo in front of the New Main Building and visited Air and Space Museum as well as BeiDou Exhibition hall.

This conference is a preparation meeting of Expert Dialogue among The Belt and Road Countries about BDS Services which will be organized during the China Satellite Navigation Conference (CSNC 2016). This year’s CSNC will be held in ChangSha from 18th to 20th May 2016.
