On the morning of May 14th, 2016, 20 lecturers and students in International GNSS Seminar(2016) visited to Beijing BDStar Navigation CO., Ltd..

BDStar is a specialized company engaged in navigation and positioning service, which was established at the same time as the launching of China's first BeiDou satellite in 2000. BDStar has been always committed to promoting industrialization of China's satellite navigation and gathers research &development, production and sales into one. Its main businesses are information system application based on positioning, supply of satellite navigation products and operation service based on location. BDStar covers the fields of military and civilian applications, such as Navigation and Positioning,  Command and Control, Precision Measurement, Target monitoring, etc.

After the visit, staff of BDStar fully answered students' questions. Through this visit, all participants learnt BDStar's overview, history, development strategy, business structure and major products, which include chips, modules,  antenna, BD-based industrial products and vehicle-carried Electronic equipments. Through this visit, all participants understand more about BeiDou Navigation Satellite System.
