On May 30th, 2016, representatives and 21 participants of CSSTEAP attended the 3rd China International Satellite Service Business Matching and Microsatellite Commercialization Forum jointly organized by International Alliance of Satellite Application Service and China Association of Remote Sensing Application in China National Convention Centre.
Chinese aerospace industry has been launched for 60 years since 1956. The theme of this session is “Global Utilization of Space-based Silk Road, International Service of Chinese Satellites”. Commercial space and international cooperation, satellites services in “One Belt and One Road” was discussed deeply at the meeting. Mr. Weng Jingnong, Executive Director of CSSTEAP was invited to host the forum of “Commercial Space and International Cooperation”. He shared insights from the perspectives of how to promote globalization of Chinese satellite service through identifying regional development requirements, company internationalization and project financing, international cooperation and sharing model.
“Space technology was the most economical and efficient method to solve interconnection of wide-area information” was a core idea stressed at the meeting. Satellite networking should be carried well to provide users an all-round service with high quality.
