At the invitation of the Centre, Professor Dongkai Yang from the School of Electronic Information Engineering of Beihang University will give a lecture on the Frontiers of Space Technology Applications on May 26th.

This lecture series is open to participants from the Centre, and interested students and faculty from both on and off campus are also welcome to attend.

Dr. YANG Dongkai is full professor in School of Electronic and Information Engineering, Beihang University. He graduated from Beihang University and got Ph.D degree in 2000, after that he joined the research team of GPS Center in Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and worked around 2 years. From 2003, he worked as an associate professor, and professor since 2010. His research interest is GNSS and its remote sensing applications, i.e. GNSS-R. He published about 50 journal papers in English and 2 books on GNSS-R in Chinese with his students. He currently is the Chinese Coordinator of China-Europe GNSS-R joint research group and the senior member of Chinese Electronics Institute.
