On November 21st, 2016, 15 participants majoring in RS & GIS went to the State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science for professional hands-on training. It was organized by the Center as a practical class of “The Principle and Method of Remote Sensing”.

The course was lectured by Professor Liu Qinhuo from Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth Chinese Academy of Sciences. Pro. Liu Qinhuo and other researchers gave a vivid and excellent introduction of infrared photometric methods from indoors to outdoors with hands-on guidance. The participants listened carefully and then operated by themselves actively.

At the end of this training, the participants expressed their thanks to the lecturers in RADI and the Centre. They said that according to this hands-on training, they had a deeper and more intuitive understanding the theories they learned before, they would work harder and hoped to contribute to the development of space technology.
