The 23rd China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF for short) was hold in Shenzhen from December 27 to 29, 2021. A total of thirty-nine (39) countries participated in this CHTF, including thirteen (13) countries on-site and twenty-six (26) countries online.
Geospace Technologies Co., Ltd., founded by the Brazilian graduates of the Centre Mr. Xie Wang Daniel and Mr. Dos Santos Oliveira Luan Henrique, participated in the exhibition offline. The company uses drone technology to collect geographic parameters and provide solutions for natural resource management, smart agriculture, smart cities, etc. Mr. Xie Wang Daniel, Co-founder of the company, expressed his hope to deepen the cooperation between Brazil and China in this field through the exhibition.
Both Mr. Xie Wang Daniel and Mr. Dos Santos Oliveira Luan Henrique graduated from the Centre in 2019. After graduation in July 2019, they embarked on their entrepreneurial journey and registered Geospace Technologies Co., Ltd. in late September of that year. In early 2020, they registered Geospace in Brazil as a branch of the company.
The company was established to further seamlessly connect with local Chinese space technology enterprises, to assist in facilitating partnerships between Brazilian and other South American enterprises and Chinese enterprises in the technical and commercial fields, and to try to be a bridge between China and South American countries in the field of space technology.
As of September 2021, the Centre has cultivated three hundred and nineteen (319) master’s and doctoral students for twenty-seven (27) developing countries. Most of the graduates have become technical backbones or industry supervisors in the relevant departments of their host countries; some graduates have started their own businesses in China, contributing to China’s space science and technology going global.
