On March 18, 2022, the work planning seminar for spring semester of the Centre was held in Conference Room 201 of International School, Beihang University, which was hosted by Mr. Weng Jingnong, Executive Director of the Centre, and attended by representatives of teachers from various majors and staff of the Centre.
The seminar discussed the current situation of enrolled participants, course schedules, research progress and academic activities, clarified the key points of work for graduates in this semester, and planned for mid-term assessment, defense, etc.
Mr. Weng Jingnong presented the feedback from the State Members at the 5th Meeting of the Governing Board. He said that the suggestions given by the Members would be fully considered and corresponding measures would be taken to continuously improve and optimize the construction of the Centre. In addition, Mr. Weng Jingnong pointed out that the administration of policy of the Centre would be further strengthened, and supplementary revision and implementation would be carried out on the basis of the existing list.
Ensuring “routine work moving forward” was proposed at the seminar. Poster Design Contest for China Space Day 2022 has been launched, which is the Centre’s highlight and should be given priority recently. In addition, the Centre will continue to expand and deepen enterprise cooperation.
In the end, the representatives of teachers from various majors actively offered many valuable suggestions on student management, informatization construction, administration of policy, communication with the Member States, resource sharing and other issues in the new semester. It is believed that with the joint efforts of the entire staff and participants, the Centre will step up to a higher level and make new contributions.
